Pablo Picasso - The Weeping Woman (1937)

A stage of struggles, a light to lead
Towards the vast, towards the vacant
These combined calculations, these cultured controls
Revealing revolutions, a right to rectify
As emotion to emulate, as an entity to entertain
This artistic aura, this area to apply
As a weeping woman, as a way to welcome
A style to stimulate, a strength to stir
A misfortune to be magnified, a might to mingle
As the paint applied, as the person abstracted
As the colours depict, as the creation donated
The figure formed, the fame foretold
The intrigued style, the realistic portrayed
And the feelings of a formation, the face of a female
